One of the approximately 250 paintings Monet did on water lilies. The famous series of paintings were of his beloved garden at Giverny, in Normandy, France. Here he spent a lot of time during the last 30 years of his life, capturing the effects of light on the small pond, with its lilies and the japanese bridge.
