A lesser known French painter, but talented nonetheless. Charles Guilloux was a self-taught artist, working a full-time job at the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. His art, mostly landscapes, consists of dreamy hues and floating forms. This painting of a serene sunset was bought by the Musée d'Orsay in 2007, who also has another beautiful Twilight-painting with the sun setting gently over the Seine.
