The British Romantic painter J.M.W. Turner was a true master of light and atmosphere, and was even celebrated during his own lifetime for his innovative style of painting landscapes and seascapes. One of his most famous works, 'The Fighting Temeraire', has even been honored by being included in the design of the £20 note, alongside Turner's self-portrait.
