Garden by David Hockney

One of my favorite color palettes is the one found in David Hockney's acrylic paintings. Hockney, still an active artist at the age of 86, is among the artists that have seen their artworks sold for record prices while still alive. In 2018, his 'Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)' sold at auction for $90 million, breaking Jeff Koons' record. The next year, Jeff Koons' would reclaim the record with $91 million fetched for his sculpture 'Rabbit'.
