Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette by Pierre-Auguste Renoir

One of Renoir's greatest masterpieces, and maybe one of the greatest masterpieces of the whole Impressionist movement. Using light brushstrokes, Renoir captures the liveliness of the scene perfectly, but what makes this painting stand apart is the effect of the sunlight getting scattered through the leaves of the trees above.
